On 23 June 2026, Xecs organised the webinar “How to Prepare and Make the Most of the Xecs Matchmaking Event”, helping future applicants get ready for the Xecs Matchmaking Event, taking place on 6–7 October 2026 in Vienna.
Webinar Highlights
The session opened with an overview of Xecs Call 6 and the dedicated Quantum Call, presented by Nadja Rohrbach, Xecs Director. Participants received practical information on the call process, eligibility requirements, key timelines and the importance of building strong international consortia across the Eureka network.
A highlight of the webinar was the testimony of Murat Merdin from MET İleri Teknoloji Sistemleri, who shared valuable lessons from participating in previous Xecs projects. His practical advice focused on preparing clear project ideas, actively networking, and making the most of the matchmaking event to build successful partnerships.
During a live demonstration, Oksana Demorat, AENEAS Communication Manager, presented the AENEAS Event Platform, explaining how participants can create their profiles, submit project ideas, identify potential partners, exchange messages and schedule face-to-face meetings before the event.
