The FFG is organising a webinar on 29 September 2022, 12:00 – 12:45, to inform Austrian applicants about the calls for projects of the Eureka clusters Xecs (Electronic Components and Systems) and SMART (Advanced Manufacturing) and where the applicants can submit their transnational R&D projects.
After the XECS Call 2 Launch Event – on 29 September 10:00 to 11:30- and before the Matchmaking Events at EFECS 2022 – on 24 and 25 November- and the SMART PO Day, the webinar focuses on the funding conditions for the Eureka Cluster projects in Austria.
Target and funding
The FFG is targeting small and medium-sized companies that can apply for cash grants of up to 60/50% respectively via FFG basic programs, as well as large enterprises that can receive a funding mix of up to 50% of the project costs. Research institutions can be involved as third-party providers.
Alternatively, Eureka cluster projects can also be funded via the FFG’s thematic programs.
Xecs and SMART
Xecs and SMART are two Eureka Clusters. Eureka clusters are industry communities that organise calls for projects to implement R&D projects with international partners. The FFG provides funding for the Austrian participants in collaborative and market-oriented R&D projects. Note that in the consortia, project participants decide for themselves on the project content and scope.
