Finnish organisations interested in applying to Xecs Call 5 are invited to join an online information webinar hosted by Business Finland on 13 November 2025 at 13:00 CET.
This one-hour session will provide a comprehensive overview of the Xecs Call 5 process, including its objectives, thematic priorities, and upcoming milestones. Participants will gain insights into the two-phase submission procedure with the Project Outline (PO) deadline set for 22 January 2026 and the Full Project Proposal (FPP) deadline for 16 April 2026.
The webinar will focus particularly on guidance for Finnish applicants, offering practical information about national eligibility criteria, funding rules, and support mechanisms available in Finland. It will also highlight how Finnish organisations can effectively engage in international collaborative projects within the field of Electronics, Components and Systems (ECS).
Presentations will be given by Toni Mattila, Head of the Chips Campaign at Business Finland, and Veli-Pekka Ihanus, Chief Funding Advisor at Business Finland. Nadja Rohrbach, Xecs Director, will introduce the overall framework of Xecs Call 5. The session will conclude with a Q&A discussion, allowing participants to ask questions directly to the speakers.
This information webinar is open to Finnish companies, SMEs, universities, and research organisations considering participation in cross-border ECS innovation consortia.
